It looks like the pre-orders for Samsung's newest high-end Android phone, the Galaxy S III, has jumped the borders of the UK and are now available for U.S. residents to pre-order. Both the white and blue models are up on Amazon for pre-order at a cost of $799 and up.
Only about a week and a half ago the UK pre-orders went live for the Galaxy S III and now U.S. residents can pre-order this new Android phone which is set to be released on June 1st here. The official names for the colors are Pebble Blue and Marble White, both sporting 16GB of storage. Other specs include:
- 1.5GHz quad-core Samsung Exynos processor
- Android 4.0
- 4.8-inch HD 720x1280 720p resolution
- A 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 8-megapixel rear camera
- 4G LTE
Interestingly enough on the pre-order form there are some new names for suppliers on there that you may not be familiar with as Android Police point out. However, when you pre-order from Amazon, they do not take payment from you until the device actually ships so you aren't just tossing money around at companies you don't know until the actual phone is on the way to your hands.
