About a week ago we reported that Carmaggedon would be arriving on May 10th, 2013 onto Google Play. Well it seems Stainless Games wanted to get a jump start and have released the game a day early. True to their word as well, there is a full version of the game available on Google Play for free for the next 24 hours.

The world of Android-powered game console has just gotten a little bigger today as BlueStacks has announced that they are getting into the console world with GamePop. What is interesting about GamePop isn't so much that it is an Android-powered game console, there seems to be a new one every couple of months, but its business model as it will be a monthly subscription service.

Gameloft and Fox Entertainment seem to have a pretty nice relationship going in regards to bringing movie spin-off games to mobile and the two companies are once again teaming up for another game that will be heading to Android and iOS soon called Epic. This particular game will be based off of the upcoming animated movie of the same name.
TestFlight drops closed beta tags, allows developers to easily run public betas

TestFlight is an interesting service that has been in closed beta for a little while now. What this service does is provide Android developers an area that makes it much more easy to run any sort of public beta for their application or game that they may be working on. Instead of having to put the beta version of your game on Google Play, or provide a self-hosted or cloud-based download and having people manually install your beta, TestFlight allows people to download and install a beta version of your game off the internet and onto their device.

We've been talking about Jagex and their MMORPG RuneScape coming to tablets for awhile now. We first heard about the possibility that this could happen back in the Fall of last year. Now Jagex has come out to say that the company is working really hard on trying to have RuneScape available on tablets by the end of this year.

Hiversaires by Devine Lu Linvega is a rather interesting point-and-click adventure game that hit the Google Play store last night. This particular game has a rather short and sweet description on Google Play but gives enough information that you should know what you're getting into ahead of time to some degree.

Replay Games have announced that their upcoming Leisure Suit Larry game called Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded will be hopefully arriving for PC and Mac on May 31st. The company also stated that the iOS and Android versions of the game would be arriving shortly after the PC/Mac launch but did not mention a specific date as to when the game would be released.

Alright maybe the insides aren't so gooey after all but the folks over at iFixIt have gotten a hold of an Ouya unit, fondling it lovingly, before tearing all of its guts out for everyone to view. The result is that the Ouya is actually quite repairable, at least according to the iFixIt guys.
