The idea of gaming themed Android devices is nothing new, especially since we have the Xperia Play along with a few other Playstation Certified devices along with GameStop tablets with their controllers. the fact is mobile gaming is a huge industry already and it is still growing. Archos sees this and is planning on developing a gaming-centric Android tablet to cater to mobile gamers.

A huge new RPG title has landed on Android from Spiderweb Software called Avadon: The Black Fortress. Taking inspiration from some of the earlier 3D RPGs that used to be popular, Avadon features a top-down isometric view similar to what you would find in older RPGs like Ultima.

Spicy Horse Games, the developers behind games such as Alice: Madness Returns, are now working on an action-RPG title that will be hitting the web, PC and tablets called Akaneiro: Demon Hunters. This game take inspiration for Little Red Riding Hood but with a more mature take on the story, plus it has demons.

As you may know already from us talking about the Shadowrun Returns Kickstarter project, this game will be coming to PC, Android and iOS tablets when it is released thanks to the initial $400,000 in successful funding. Topping over the $700k mark right now, new features have been announced along with a new set of features that will be added if the Kickstarter project breaks the $1 million mark.

Well that certainly didn't take long and it really isn't a surprise but in case you haven't yet noticed, the Kickstarter project for Shadowrun Returns, the newest iteration of the classic and epic RPG from back in the day, has reached their Kickstater goal of $400,000 in just under two days. So what does this mean?

We knew this would happen although it took a little while for Rockstar to get everything in place but for those of you who play OnLive games on your Android tablets, there is one more game that now comes with mobile optimized touchscreen controls and that is L.A. Noire from Rockstar Games.

The follow-up to Zeptolab's rather popular puzzle game called Cut The Rope, the newest addition to the series has been released onto Android called Cut The Rope: Experiments HD which you may remember us talking about in the past. In fact it seems to have taken forever for this game to land on Android since we last talked about it.

It appears our friends over at Pockett have spotted another case of Ilo Milo but this time with a racing game called Timbuktu. For those of you unfamiliar with the Ilo Milo situation, this was a 3D multi-directional platformer game that was supposed to come to Android. It was even demoed on Android for some time.

GameTanium from Exent is an all-you-can-eat game subscription service for Android gamers to sign up for and for a monthly fee, play all the Android games they want that happens to be available on the GameTanium platform. Until now it had only been really available for Android phones.

Thumbstar Games have finally released their Tegra optimized game called Meltdown on Mars THD. This particular game is a dual-stick shooter with some pretty sweet visuals to go along with all the action. This is strictly a Tegra-based tablet game for right now.

Nevosoft Inc, developers of the adventure puzzle game called Dream Sleuth, have now released the game onto the Amazon App Store for the Kindle Fire as well as other Android devices. Granted if you own something aside from the Kindle Fire, you can already get this game off of the Android Market.
