Back during CES 2012 we got some hands-on time with Sega's upcoming sports title called Virtua Tennis Challenge which will be coming to Android. During GDC 2012 and our visit with Sega, we managed to get an update so to when we can expect this game to arrive on Google Play.
According to our conversation with Sega, Virtua Tennis Challenge will be arriving for the Xperia Play on March 19th. This will be a temporary exclusive to the play for a short period of time, roughly two weeks, before heading over to other Android devices.
For those of you who missed our hands-on with Virtua Tennis Challenge back during CES 2012, this is Sega's mobile addition to the Virtua Tennis franchise. There will be features like daily tournaments, available for different skill levels, and multiplayer as well. Still no word on exactly what the pricing will be but there will be completely optional in-game purchases of extra cash that you can spend in game. Of course you can earn this through normal game playing as well.
