It appears that Square Enix is looking to possibly capitalize on the holiday season and the popularity of their recently announced second franchise that will be coming to mobile called Dragon Quest. If you missed out on our previous posts, basically Square Enix has said that the Final Fantasy franchise won't be continuing after the release of Final Fantasy VII for mobile devices in the immediate future.
D-Pad Studios have released their gothic-themed shooter onto Android today called Savant - Ascent. This particular shooter happens to be stuffed full of dubstep tunes even though it is gothic themed. This soundtrack however plays really nicely with the game itself and actually suits it quite well.
The popular PvP centric RTS game Clash of Clans has received a pretty big update today that is themed around the upcoming Christmas holiday. Aside from the lands taking on a full wintery look to them, this Christmas update bring some rather unique new features to the game including Santa getting involved in your battles.

This game is a full 3D hack' slash platformer that features three worlds full of levels, a ton of different weapons and items to use, and a rather unique style of humor which you would probably recognize if you've watch the original Batman TV show from way back in the day.

Assassin's Creed Pirates was originally announced back in September but has finally arrived onto Google Play today for $4.99. This is a naval-based title where players will be in control of Alonzo Batilia and his ship.
Back in October of this year DotEmu announced that they would be bringing the Double Dragon Trilogy to mobile platforms by the end of this year. Well word on the street is that tomorrow is the day when we'll finally be able to get our hands on all three retro arcade games: Double Dragon, Double Dragon 2: The Revenge, and Double Dragon 3: The Rosetta Stone.
A rather unique game has landed onto Google Play called Never Alone Hotline. In this game you'll be running your own phone hotline and will be receiving calls from random people, and yes sometimes even kittens, which you will need to respond to. How you respond to each call is up to you.

This particular game is an endless 'driving' zombie-filled game where you'll be doing your best not to be caught by some rather fast zombies. While the goal is to not get caught, you can trick these zombies into dieing in various creative ways such as leading them to smack into the back of a car.
Sony is continuing with their big promotion that they have going on for the next few weeks where every week two games on Playstation Mobile will be available for free. Last week it happened to be the cool minimalistic RTS game Rymdkapsel and the arcade game Passing Time. This week anyone with a Playstation Certified device will be able to pick up Gun Commando and Mononoke Slashdown off of the Playstation Mobile Store for free.
Square Enix has decided to tease the mobile gaming world with a screenshot of their upcoming addition to the Final Fantasy franchise which is Final Fantasy VI. While there isn't a whole lot of details regarding this next installment into the popular RPG franchise, we do get to see a little of the game in these new screenshots.
