Vex Blocks is a new slightly crazy match-3 puzzle game

There really is no shortage of match-3 puzzle games on Android these days, or for any platform for that matter, but developers Itzy Interactive have brought something a little new to the table with their new game called Vex Blocks. So what makes this a bit different than others in the match-3 genre?

Well players are tasked with matching 3 or more blocks of the same color in order to eliminate them. Each block also has a unique symbol on them which you can also match three or more of in order to eliminate them from the playing field, giving players two different ways to match up blocks. You will also be able to rotate your device and control the gravity in the game, making the blocks falls to the new 'ground level' and giving you another possibility of matching blocks.

Vex Blocks also comes with cross-platform gameplay between your Android phone, your tablet and Facebook. That way you can take on your friend's challenges that have been issued to you whether you're at home or on the go. You can also play in co-op multiplayer as well. There also happens to be four different game modes to play:

- FREEPLAY: Relax with a screen full of blocks just waiting to be electrified and exploded!
- TIMED: How long can you keep playing? Rack up as many points as you can while earning precious seconds with each lightning chain as you race the clock in the timed mode.
- ARCADE: Use your lightning or power-ups to destroy blocks and reach your level goal, but don’t let the falling blocks fill the screen as the difficulty increases with each level.
- PUZZLE: 80+ puzzles. Can you clear the blocks in the fewest moves possible? Challenge each unique puzzle level and clear all blocks without using up all your moves.

As you progress through the game you will be earning coins which you can turn around and spend on power-ups to give yourself a boost in one form or another. Of course if you're lazy you can also purchase coins through IAPs.
