Touch Fighter from WeMade Entertainment brings more head-to-head fighting action to Android

Posted by AndrewH in Game News on January 16, 2013

While Gamevil has released their idea of a head-to-head fighting game which is similar to titles like Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat as of yesterday, WeMade Entertainment has had a little gem of a brawler on Google Play for almost a month which has slipped past us until now. Touch Fighter is a pure head-to-head brawler with a simple three button system that allows you to beat the crap out of your opponents.

Even though there are only three buttons, plus a virtual joystick for movement, you can unleash some pretty nasty combos in this game. If you've played a game like Dead or Alive on the PS3 or Xbox 360, then you will probably feel a little at home with this easy combo system.

There are a total of eight different characters you can choose to play as, each one with their own unique style of fighting and special moves. Once you pick your character, you can choose to play in the single-players modes called Challenge and Time Attack. Of course if you play these types of games then you know it's all about beating up other people and Touch Fighter is no exception to this as you can fight other players in real-time online multiplayer VS matches.

There are a couple of things to note before you rush out to download Touch Fighter. First, you'll need to set up an account with KakaoTalk which runs the in-game messaging system so you can smack talk other players or wish them a good fight. To create an account, you will need to have KakaoTalk installed on your device. There is probably a way to play the game without KakaoTalk installed, we just haven't figured that out yet.

Secondly, you'll need a pretty beefy Android device. The developers recommend at least having a Dual Core 1.2GHz+ CPU and 1GB of Ram. The last item to note is that the entire interface is in Korean. Even though it is in Korean, you can download Touch Fighter normally off of Google Play if you have a compatible device such as a Nexus 7. There really isn't much of a need to know what you're reading anyways and you can pretty much wing your way through the interface fairly easily.

So if you are up for some more head-to-head fighting action and don't mind everything being in Korean, you might want to check out Touch Fighter. You can download this game off of Google Play for free.

Thanks to Phil for he tip!
