For those of you who have been waiting for the update to Minecraft: Pocket Edition for Android to come around since the delay a couple of days ago, the wait should be over tonight. Managing Director over at Mojang, Carl Manneh, has announced the news via his Twitter account.

The update was delayed due to a few game breaking bugs that crept up just before the update was slated to go out for both Android and iOS. Apparently now those bug are fixed and we should see the update land on Android tonight. Of course this is all based on the fact that no new bugs show their ugly faces.

Just a reminder though, this is not the Survival Mode update. This update is to replace the coding in the current version with the new code getting the game ready for the actual Survival Mode update as well as crafting. However it will come with some new things such as more blocks, new animals, doors and fences, and finally tools as well.

Currently the tools are not be made through crafting, that is a future update. When you open the game up after the update you will see an infinity symbol beside the tools meaning there is an unlimited amount of them. That will go away when crafting comes to Minecraft: Pocket Edition. So keep your eye on the market for the update to hopefully arrive tonight.
