The recently released Xbox Smartglass application from Microsoft received an update yesterday that brings with it support for 7" Android tablets. Up until now the Xbox Smartglass application was only available for Android phones and even then it wasn't every phone but at least it was available for a good portion of them. Tablets, on the other hand, were completely left out in the dark.
Now, if you happen to own a 7" Android tablet, you will be able to install Xbox Smartglass onto it. Hopefully Microsoft will bring support for more phones and large tablets in the near future with another update. The rest of the update was focused on fixing a few bugs that users were experiencing with the application, more specifically in regards to some crashing issues when accessing the Settings screen or the Achievements screen.
Some other minor bugs were also dealt with but Microsoft doesn't go into detail as to what those were. If you haven't updated your Xbox Smartglass application just yet, you can do so at any time now since the update has been live since yesterday.
